It’s that time of year to stop and think about all that we’re thankful for. Gene and I do this daily. We wake up every morning and pray out loud together thanking God for everything because we realize that everything is from Him.
We are thankful for our children, grandchildren, family and friends
We are thankful for health.
We are thankful to God for every little everything.
We are thankful for the customers at the winery and the couples that marry at Sassafras Springs Vineyard. We truly want them to have a blessed experience with us.
Gene grew up as the son of a single mom who had four children. They lived in a very poor area of central Louisiana and moved around a lot. He learned hard work at an early age just for food and clothing.
I grew up with a mom, dad and brother. My mom instilled hard work in me beginning when I was quite young. We lived on a chicken farm, and I had to help in the chicken houses and with the daily chores. I was driven to my first job on my 16th birthday
Lots of people work hard their entire life. That is why we know that God has His hand on us. He is blessing Sassafras Springs Vineyard. We hope that we can glorify God and His presence there.
Jesus says, “I am the vine, and you are the branches” (John 15:5). He also says, “No one comes to the Father except through me.” That’s from John 14:6.
Happiness may come from a glass of wine, but true joy comes from the Divine.
We hope you’ll consider Sassafras for your company’s Christmas party or your New Year’s kick-off meetings. We can help make this an amazing and memorable experience. Just tell us your desires, or let us share some ideas with you.
Our wine club is so much fun and would make a great Christmas gift that keeps on giving all year long!
Look at your calendar, and think of the special times you have coming up in 2020. Call us to lock in the date here at Sassafras before those dates are all gone!
We wish you a most peaceful season of Thanksgiving and the joy of Christmas in your heart all year.
